The Perfect European Weekend Girls Trip - Lisbon, Portugal

With just about a 6 hour plane ride away, Portugal is the perfect place to explore with your girl friends for a long weekend. It's a charming city and VERY budget friendly. 💛

Day 1 (Wednesday/Thursday): Arrival in Lisbon & Non-Stop Exploration

  • Wednesday Evening: Depart from your chosen airport on a direct flight to Lisbon (LIS). Aim for an early Thursday morning arrival.
  • Thursday Morning: Arrive at Lisbon Airport (LIS). Take a taxi or metro to your hotel. Drop off your luggage and resist the urge to nap! (Ubers are also extremely cost effective in Lisbon)!
  • Thursday Day: Dive straight into Lisbon's historic heart:
    • Alfama (Old Town): Wander through the charming streets and cute ships 
    • Elevador da Bica & Rua Augusta: Visit the elevator right off Rua Augusta, a beautiful street with tons of ships 
    • Sao Pedro Viewpoint (Miradouro de São Pedro de Alcântara): Amazing views of the city 
    • LX Factory: A trendy industrial complex, including the Livraria Ler Devagar bookstore.
    • Green Street: Walk through this unique street
    • Time Out Market: Sample a variety of Portuguese delicacies.
  • Thursday Evening:
    • Boat across the water to Jardim Do Rio for the best sunset in Lisbon.
    • Dinner at Rosa Da Rua for a traditional Portuguese buffet.
    • Drinks at Black Sheep Wine Bar or Castro Bar @ The Ivens.
  • Thursday Night:
    • Pink Street: The hotspot of Lisbons Nightlife, back to back bars and clubs

Day 2 (Friday): Cascais & Sintra Day Trip

  • Friday Morning: Take a train to Sintra.

Day 4 (Sunday): Departure
